Experience Ethiopia’s most iconic highland wilderness on a 10-day trek through the Simien / Semien Mountains. This route is designed around unforgettable wildlife encounters (including endemic gelada baboons and the chance to spot lammergeier / bearded vultures) and dramatic landscapes—rocky escarpments, deep valleys, giant lobelia moorlands, and panoramic ridge views. You’ll trek between classic campsites (Sankaber, Geech, Chennek, Ambiquo, Sona, Ansiya valley, Mekarebya, Mulit) while acclimatizing gradually before pushing toward Ethiopia’s highest peaks near Ras Dashen.

Fly to Gondar & Drive to Sankaber (3200m)

Morning - Fly from Addis Ababa to Gondar, then transfer/meet your team. - Start the scenic drive toward Sankaber.
