About the trip
A two-days heritage journey to Lalibela, the UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its rock-hewn churches and living Orthodox tradition. Day one flies from Addis Ababa to Lalibela for visits to the first group of churches, followed by the Church of St. George, dinner, and an overnight stay at Lalibela Sora or Mezena Lodge. Day two leaves time to explore more of Lalibela or attend mass at St. George before the return to Addis Ababa.

Day 1: Fly Addis Ababa to Lalibela
Morning flight from Addis Ababa to Lalibela (08:10-10:25). Meet on arrival and drive about 17 km toward town to visit the first group of Lalibela's rock-hewn churches. Continue with sightseeing around the town center, then visit the famous Church of St. George before dinner and an overnight stay at Lalibela Sora or Mezena Lodge.
Day 2: Explore Lalibela and return to Addis Ababa
Spend the morning exploring more of Lalibela or attending mass at St. George. Transfer to Lalibela Airport around 10:00 AM for the return flight to Addis Ababa.
