As we travel to Jinka, you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Konso villages and the captivating cultures of the Mursi tribe in Mago National Park, famous for their unique lip plates. Experience the colorful markets of Key Afer and immerse yourself in the traditions of the Karo and Hamar tribes, known for their striking body art and customs.

Our journey continues with enchanting boat rides on Lake Chamo, where you may encounter hippos and crocodiles, and culminates with a visit to the iconic rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, a true highlight of Ethiopian heritage. Itinerary

Day 1 Fly Addis Abeba  Arba Minch.
Pickup from the airport and coffee and refreshments. Then drive to Dorze tribe village for visits. Drive back to Arbaminch and check in to hotel for a deserved rest.

Day 2 Drive Arba Minch to Jinka 235 KMS
Highlight of the tour KONSO TRIBE
AM 7:00 Breakfast and drive to Konso town.
Visit the UNESCO site of Konso villages.

Day 3 Drive Jinka to Mago park to visit MURSI Tribe
We drive 23kms deep in to Mago park where the Mursi tribe who are known for the their LIP-PLATE live. We spend full day photographing and learning about their cultures.
Early afternoon drive back to Jinka and visit the daily market in Jinka town.

Day 4 Drive Jinka-via Key Afer-Turmi town 116kms ( Tuesday)
8:30 drive to Key Afer town stopping at the famous and colorful market of Alduda. Here we spend about two hours filming and photographing at the pick time of the market where it gets interesting to observe the trade systems and cultures of different tribes gathered together.
Proceed to Murule to visit Karo tribe.
Late Afternoon we drive back to Turmi for overnight.

Day 5 Full day in Turmi town
Spend our morning with the Hammer tribe and drive to Omorate for the Dasenesh tribe crossing the river by Canoe.
Drive back to Turmi visiting the Gnangatom tribe.

Day 6 Turmi-Arba Minch 273kms
AM further visit the Hammer tribe and drive back to Arba Minch and on our way visit the Borna Oromo village known for women with different hairstyles and necklace.
PM we do a boat ride over Lake Chamo to visit hippopotamus, crocodiles and birds.

Day 7 Arba Minch-Addis 435kms
Full day drive. Stop in Lake Ziway for photographing birds.

Day 8 FLY ADDIS ABABA - LALIBELA 08:10 - 10:25 AMHARA REGION
Fly Fly Addis Ababa - Lalibela
Pick up from the airport and drive 17 kms towards the city.
Visit the firist group of rock-hewn churches of Lalibela Lunch in a local traditional restaurant
Lunch in a local traditional restaurant
Afternoon: Visit the famous Church of St. George

Evening:Dinner at the hotel
Overnight in Lalibela Sora or Mezena Lodge
