Itinerary

Day 1 Sunday: Fly Addis-Kombolcha, Drive to Kemise
- Arrival and drive to Kemise town.
- Visit the vibrant Senbete Market, where various ethnic groups like Amhara, Oromo, Afar, and Argoba come together for trading.
- Overnight at Sunnyside Hotel in Kombolcha.

Day 2 Monday: Kombolcha - Doho, Afar Region
- Drive to Bati town and experience the colorful Bati camel market.
- Along the way to Doho, make stops at traditional villages for photo opportunities.
- Overnight at Doho Lodge

Day 3 Tuesday: Drive Doho-Harar
- In the morning, visit Kereyu and Afar villages to learn about their culture and way of life.
- Proceed to Harar in the afternoon.
- Visit the Hayna man, who feeds the wild hyenas outside the city walls.
- Accommodation at Harari Cultural Guest House.

Day 4 Wednesday: Explore Harar
- Spend the day exploring the markets and the historic walled city of Harar.
- Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and history of the city.
- Overnight at Harari Cultural Guest House.

Day 5 Thursday: Harar-Diredawa- Fly to Addis
- Drive to Diredawa, stopping at the Awoday 'Chat' Market to witness the Oromo tribe and explore the daily market.
- Fly back to Addis Ababa.
- Overnight at Sheraton Addis.

Day 6 Friday: Fly Addis-Arbaminch, Visit Dorze Village
- Fly from Addis Ababa to Arbaminchi.
- In the afternoon, visit the fascinating Dorze village known for its unique bamboo houses and traditional weaving techniques.
- Overnight in Arbaminch

Day 7 Saturday: Drive Arbaminchi-Konso-Turmi
- Visit one of the UNESCO registered villages of Konso and explore the colorful Konso market.
- In the late afternoon, visit a Hammer village and experience their cultural practices.
- Overnight at Buska Lodge

Day 8 Sunday: Explore Turmi
- Early morning drive to Omorate to visit the Dassenechi tribe.
- Depending on availability, in the afternoon, witness the bull jumping ceremony of the Hammer people.
- Overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 9 Monday: Turmi-Kibish via Karo and Nyangatom
- Start the day with a visit to Karo and Nyangatom tribes.
- Continue the journey to Kibish.
- Overnight camping.

Day 10 Tuesday: Explore Kibish
- Spend the day visiting the Surma tribe in Kibish.
- Immerse yourself in their unique culture and traditions.
- Overnight camping

Day 11 Wednesday: Kibish-Jinka
- Visit the Bodi and Mursi tribes and learn about their way of life.
- Overnight at ECO-OMO Lodge in Jinka.

Day 12 Thursday: Fly Jinka-Addis, City Tour
- Fly from Jinka to Addis Ababa.
- Enjoy a city tour of Addis Ababa, visiting its museums, markets, and cultural attractions.
- Overnight

Day 13 Friday: Fly Addis-Bahardar
- Take a flight from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar.
- Embark on a cruise on Lake Tana and visit the monasteries renowned for their mural paintings and monastic traditions.
- Overnight at Kuriftu Resort

Day 14 Saturday: Bahardar-Gonder
- Drive to Gonder and explore the Gonder Castles, also known as the Royal Enclosure.
- Visit the Debrebrehan Church, where church students are being educated.
- Overnight at Goha Hotel

Day 15 Sunday: Fly Gonder-Lalibela
- Fly from Gonder to Lalibela.
- In the afternoon, visit the first group of rock-hewn churches, including the iconic St. George Church.
- Overnight at Panoramic View Hotel

Day 16 Monday: Lalibela-Addis
- In the morning, visit the second group of rock-hewn churches in Lalibela and fly back to Addis
